We started off at around am after we park our car for RM1 at the palm tree plantation car park. The path towards the main entrance was well maintain and along the way you can see deserted stores that were used to be around.

After about m walk we arrived at the start of the climb there was this fenced up gate with 2 old folks there charging you RM1 entrance fee. These guys can point you to either an easy climb or a tough climb, any one of you felt that you are in for a real fat burning regime can proceed to the farther end of the path around m until you see a red sign pointing up a slope with rope hanging down to assist you.

For us we chose the easy way out. This easier path is just immediately beyond the gate at around 5m on the right side with old tires arranged like a stepped staircase up the slope. This jungle path opens to a road after trekking for m somewhere at the half way point, this is the part where you will decide to turn right or continue the steep slope up.

For us we turned right and follow the path towards the zitzac path up the slope which is around 1km. Once we reached the top we can see the 2nd view point about m in front of us, the view was fantastic and the feeling of tiredness all blown away by the nice cool wind in the morning.

There are big boulders all over the top and resisting to stand on one of these to take photo is difficult. After resting for an hour or so and a some photo shots we head down from the 2nd view point. This part of the path is a lot more challenging due the extreme slope and it is not advisable if there was rain the day before, the path will be pretty muddy and slippery, it took us almost an hour just to clear this downslope to reach the path below. Sebab parking area dalam sawit tu pagar dia tutup.

Trail is close partially now due to Covid Entrance fee of 10 ringgit will be charged to each single person. The trail is pretty easy and very safe for beginners too. The only tricky part was before reaching to peak 2, you will encounter a lot of steep ascend.

However, you can always choose to take the longer route which the route would be much less steep. Very bad trail, slippery after rain and not enough support points steps and ropes Have to be extra careful when climbing and descending Arriving at the peak 2nd hilltop does really give one a different type of satisfaction than sitting down infront of the laptop deciphering chemicals and molecules.

It gave me a totally different perspective on what we value in life. Plus, all those huge rocks all the way we climb the hill, indicates your life. The entire journey up does not really fascinate you with anything except you have to be vary of your surrounding and not slip and fall down.

Coming down the hill is definately easy and faster but i can stress again to be careful and not to slip. The whole climbing journey took about 50 minutes for me. Use Navigator in the AllTrails app and join the other outdoor explorers who have completed this trail.
